Personalisation
Q: Can I customise the label with a name or message?
Yes! All our baking mix party bags come with a personalised label. You can add a name, short message, and even choose from different themes.
Q: Does personalisation cost more?
No, personalisation is not extra. It is included in the price.
Q: How do I supply the personalisation for the labels?
The standard wording for the label is “Thank you for coming to <name(s)>’s party. Hope you enjoy making these cookies at home.” Just enter the name or names, in the relevant box when placing your order.
Q: Can I change the wording on the label?
Yes, no problem. Just add the wording you would like on the party favour label in the box where you would put the birthday child’s name/names.
Q: Can I see a preview of the label before it’s printed?
No problem, you can request a proof to be sent to you by email before printing to make sure it looks perfect.
Q: Can each bag have a different name?
Yes, however depending on the number of party bags with different names, there may be an additional charge.
Q: Do you offer themed party bag designs?
Yes, we have over twenty different designs to suit lots of different birthday party themes. We also have themed labels for baby showers, Christmas, Easter, Teacher thank you gifts, and more.
Q: What if there isn’t a label design available that suits the theme of my party or event?
No problem. Over the years we have created different labels for almost every party theme and these designs are available at no additional cost. Just let us know your party theme and we will see if we have a relevant design available. If we don’t have a relevant design, we can create a bespoke label for a small additional charge.
Q: Can I supply my own logo, artwork or photo for the labels?
Definitely! We can add any photos or artwork supplied. Great for birthday parties, corporate gifts or branded events. We just need artwork/photos to be supplied as a high-resolution jpeg image (300dpi)
Q: Can I change the colour of the labels?
We can change the colour of the borders, wording on the labels and the ribbons on the cookie mix boxes, to fit in with your theme. However, we only have certain ribbon colours available so any colour change to the cookie mix box party bags will need to fit with the ribbons we have. Other ribbon colours can be ordered at an additional cost.
Baking Mix Details
Q: What types of baking mixes do you offer in the party bags?
We offer a choice of different flavour cookie mixes and American style pancake mixes. All kid-friendly and fun!
Q: Do I need to add extra ingredients?
Just basic kitchen staples, such as butter or milk. Full baking instructions included.
Q: Do you cater for party guests with food allergies?
Yes we do. None of our mixes contain nuts so are generally suitable for someone with a nut allergy, however, they are made in an environment where nuts are occasionally handled. We can also offer the shortbread biscuit mix and Classic Pancake Mix as a gluten free mix. None of the party favour mixes contain egg or require the addition of eggs to make them.
Q: Are Katie Bakes party favours suitable for Vegetarians?
Yes all our party bag mixes are suitable for Vegetarians.
Q: Do you have filled party favours suitable for Vegans?
Our Shortbread biscuit mix and the Classic pancake mix goody bags are suitable for Vegans.
Q: How many treats does each mix make?
Each bag makes around 10 – 12 cookies or approximately 6 fluffy pancakes, depending on the mix you choose.
Q: How long do the mixes last?
Mixes generally have a shelf life of 3-6 months from dispatch, although often this is much longer. If you are ordering well in advance, contact us to the check the current best before dates.
Q: How do the mixes need to be stored?
The party bag mixes don’t require any special storage, just store in a cool, dry place.
Packaging
Q: What size are the party bags?
The dimension of the cookie mix party bag boxes H 16 cm x W 8 cm x D 4.5 cm and the pancake mix party bag pouches are 21cm x 13cm.
Q: Do you offer eco-friendly packaging?
Yes! All our packaging is sustainable. The cookie mix boxes are made of recycled board and the mixes are packaged in biodegradable compostable bags. The pancake mix party bags are packaged in compostable pouches.
Q: Do the bags include instructions?
Yes, every party bag comes with simple, kid-friendly instructions.
Q: Are they sealed for freshness?
Yes, all mixes are sealed to stay fresh until opened.
Ordering & Payment
Q: Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order, just order as many as you need!
Q: Can I get a sample first?
Yes, just place an order for one mix.
Q: I don’t know final numbers, can I still place an order?
Yes, no problem, we know people can be rubbish at replying to invitations! If you know a definite minimum number you can place an order for those and we can delay the dispatch until closer to the party date and add extra closer to the party date if needed, that way you won’t be charged extra for delivery.
Q: How long does it take to process my order?
Typically orders are processed out within 1 working day. If your order is particularly urgent, we suggest contacting us to make sure it will arrive in time.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and more.
Q: Do you offer discounts for large orders?
Yes! We offer discounts on 10+ party favours. The bulk pricing is displayed on the product listing and will show in your basket at the checkout.
Delivery & Returns
Q: How long does it take to process my order?
Typically orders are usually processed out within 1 working day.
Q: How long does shipping take?
Standard delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 48 and takes 2–3 working days. Express delivery options are available. If your order is particularly urgent, we suggest contacting us to make sure it will arrive in time.
Q: Where do you ship to?
We ship to UK, including Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.
Q: I am local, do you offer free delivery or collection?
Yes, we offer free collection from our Gosport office. Just select this at the checkout. We can also offer free local delivery to PO12 postcodes.
Q: What if my package is damaged?
We’ll replace any damaged good, just get in touch with a photo.
Q: Can I cancel or change my order?
Your order can be cancelled and personalisation changed, up until we have printed the labels.
Q: Can I add extra party bags after I have placed my order?
Yes, you can add extra party bags to your order. There will be no additional shipping charge as long as the order hasn’t been sent. If it has already been posted there will be an additional shipping charge.
