How to Bake Your Spotty Dotty Smartie Cookies

You’ll Need:

  • 1 egg

  • 75g melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Remove the Smarties® and set them aside.

  2. Pour the rest of the mix into a bowl.

  3. Add the egg and melted butter. Mix by hand until combined.

  4. Scoop dessert spoonfuls, roll into balls, and flatten slightly.

  5. Place on a baking tray with space between each one.

  6. Bake at 180°C / fan 160°C / gas 4 for 12–15 minutes, until just firm on top.

  7. Remove and press the Smarties® onto each warm cookie.

  8. Transfer to a cooling rack.

Quick tip: In a rush? Mix everything—including the Smarties®—and bake. Still delicious!

Storage

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days

  • Or freeze for 1 month

Ingredients

Wheat flour (with raising agents), brown sugar (with cane molasses), cocoa powder, Smarties® (milk, cocoa butter, sugar, natural colors, and flavorings).

Note: This mix does NOT contain nuts but is made in a facility that handles nuts.
